Step 1: Required Main Job Missions

• To access the Where Is My Mind epilogue, you must first complete the following Main Job missions:

  – Last Caress
  – Totalimmortal

Step 2: Wake Up in Arasaka Facility

• After capturing Yorinobu and experiencing a collapse, you will wake up in an Arasaka facility located in a space station. Johnny has been removed from your head as promised, but your mind and body have suffered lasting damage.

Step 3: Repeat Tests

• You will find yourself stuck in a repetitive cycle that spans several weeks. During this time, you will be subjected to the same tests over and over again, such as Q/A, Rubix Cube, and Cardio. Unfortunately, you will always have the same failed results.

Step 4: Phone Privileges

• Eventually, you will be granted phone privileges. You have the option to call your romantic interest, friends, and family. These phone calls will elicit mixed reactions, with loved ones expressing both excitement and disappointment in your choice to cooperate with Arasaka. Most will urge you to return to Earth immediately for proper medical care.

Step 5: Encounter with Takemura or Dr. Hellman

• After the phone calls and more frustrating tests, either Takemura or Dr. Hellman will arrive to speak with you. If you saved Takemura during the Play It Safe mission, he will appear. Otherwise, Hellman will take his place.

Step 6: The Choice

• During this encounter, you will be given a choice. You can either sign your life away to Arasaka, allowing your mind to be placed in Mikoshi for a potential revival in the future, or refuse their offer and return to Earth, accepting the fact that you only have six months to live.

Step 7: Personal Decision

• The choice you make is entirely personal and will primarily affect the final cutscene that follows. It will depict either V giving up their mind or heading back to Earth. Both choices mark the end of the game.
